PROJECT OVERVIEW
The proposed architectural design project at 1064 Ft. Hill Street and 1043 Womack Street in Macon, GA 31211 envisions a sustainable apartment building that reflects the rich history and cultural context of the Ft. Hawkins/ Ft. Hill neighborhood. This project aims to provide a modern, eco- friendly living space while promoting community values and addressing several social and environmental objectives.
The apartment building will have a basement level with three floors of 1 and 2- bedroom micro units stacked on top. The basement will house the community greenhouse and other shared facilities, while the upper floors will accommodate the residential units. The building’ s exterior will reflect the historical Fort Hawkins and Fort Hill neighborhood architectural styles, blending seamlessly with the surroundings.
